I spent eight years working as a commissioning editor at news and analysis site The Conversation, most recently as Investigations Editor. Over this period I collaborated with over 1,500 academics, commissioning them to write news stories on the topic of their expertise and working closely with them to produce engaging, cutting-edge and accessible articles that would create impact.
My work on the dangers of net zero won a Covering Climate Now award in 2022; and an investigation into Haitian peacekeepers featured on the front page of The Times and led to multiple governmental and UN inquiries as well as changes to UN peacekeeper training.
These days, I write The Evidence, a monthly newsletter from Gloria Media designed to help you understand gender inequality – and show how we might fix it. I am available for reporting and editing commissions as well as projects relating to the environment, science & society, social policy and gender equality.
